Tulip does individual Vedic readings & lifestyle consultations, engages with communities through meet ups/ hang outs while sharing her views of Vedic philosophies & creates pieces of art & writings that are either inspired by her vision or ones that reflect the astrological make-up of some of her clients who can’t get enough of the subject
While Tulip was busy filming for her movies and advertisements, she also fearlessly followed her inner calling towards deep spirituality. Unconvinced by explanations of self-proclaimed Godmen, she learnt Sanskrit and Vedic astrology with a view to understand ancient Indian scriptures without dilution.
With nearly a decade and half of dedicated study and practise, she is a respected Jyotish (Vedic Astrologer & a lifestyle consultant) who has helped countless individuals solve chronic problems, heal traumas, make sense of life, gain clarity and move forward towards personal success and peace.
Pageantry, Modelling & Film
She entered the glamorous world of modelling after her BSc graduation, doing over a hundred assignments for catalogs & advertisements for diverse brands & campaigns for Vicks, Smirnoff, Tata Sky, Coke, Rexona, De Beers Diamonds, amongst many others. Tulip was also a delegate in the Miss India beauty pageant.The legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra, spotted Tulip at his son’s wedding and offered her the lead role in his film ‘Mere Yaar ki Shaadi Hain’ a successful movie which is still shown on TV regularly.She went on to star as the female lead in 17 Indian films including Dil Maange More with Shahid Kapoor, Superstar with Kunal Khemu, Mahesh Bhatt’s Dhokha, and Matrabhoomi, an Indo- French film which was rated by the Time magazine as one of the top 10 films of 2005 & also won awards at Venice Film Festival amongst other film festivals. In regional films, she starred with the super stars of Southern and Punjabi films including Mamoothi, Sudip, Nayan Tara, Pawan Kalyan, Harbhajan Mann amongst many others. She has had the distinct honor of doing ad campaigns for fierce rivals such as Coke and Pepsi, acting with Hritik Roshan and making a guest appearance for Salman Khan in “Jai Ho”. Tulip starred as the lead character in a TV series for Hot Star called Airlines.
Early years
Tulip was born and raised in Mumbai, as the third daughter of mixed race parents, an Armenian mother & a Gujarati father. She schooled at Jamnabai Narsee School, famous for churning out the cream of Bollywood. She was a natural at sports and extracurricular activities
